Currently leading design at Formation. Before that, I helped start the growth team at Codecademy. Obsessed with Claude Code and Conductor. I make software that's useful, usable, and beautiful — in that order.

What I'm Up To
Designing the Future of Education at Formation
First hire. I designed the MVP and pitch that secured a16z funding — then built our platform, design system, and growth engine from zero.
Scaled to millions in revenue. Helped hundreds of engineers land top roles, with Fellows seeing an average $89K compensation increase.
Now re-architecting how product ideas ship. Building around Claude so PMs can prototype directly and design can move faster.
Building Side Projects for Dungeon Masters
A simple tool with a clear job. My D&D table kept getting stuck on jump-distance rulings, so I built Simple Jumps in a few days to make the answer instant.
A playground for AI-native workflows. Built with Claude Code, Figma MCP, Midjourney, and Conductor — a fast way to test new workflows and bring the best ideas back to Formation.
What I Did Before
Unlocked Growth at Codecademy
Helped found the Growth Team. Built a culture of rapid experimentation through hundreds of A/B tests.
Redesigned key conversion surfaces. Improved Course Pages and Free Trial, driving 14K new signups per week and a 30% lift in Pro conversion.
Improved monetization across the funnel. Increased average bookings per user by 54% and helped unlock millions in new revenue.
Helped Pioneer Microlearning at Grovo
Designed training products for Fortune 500 teams. Worked as a Senior Product Designer with Pepsi, Gap, and the NBA to deliver bite-sized employee training at scale.
Acquired by Cornerstone OnDemand. Helped build the product that made us an acquisition target in the enterprise learning space.
What I Did Wayyy Before
Photojournalism
Self-taught, craft-obsessed. I learned through online tutorials, constant shooting, and relentless repetition — then worked my way into assignments for VICE, National Geographic, Playboy, Wall Street Journal, Rolling Stone, and more.
Ballet
12 hours a day, six days a week, for eight years. I was homeschooled from 9 to 17 so that I could train full-time to become a professional ballet dancer. It wasn’t the right path for me — but it gave me an unshakable belief that with focus and work ethic we can become world-class at our craft.
